Module 1/Day 2

1. Technical drawing is a precise and detailed drawing of an object, as


employed in architecture or engineering.
2. Technical design uses technical leadership, discipline and craftsmanship to
find a solution to an identified problem.
3. The two primary uses of Technical drawing are architecture and
engineering.
4. Two important elements of design are criteria and constraints.
5. A design is always evaluated and refined, going through numerous
iterations.
6. Standards must be maintained to insure consistency and understanding,
they are primarily set by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
7. Technical drawing is a form of graphic communication.
8. CAD is the abbreviation for computer-aided design.
9. Mechanical drawing is the creation of precision drawings using drafting
tools as opposed to the computer.
10.Iron Man used holograms of 3-D technical drawings when designing his
suit.
