INRODUCTION

San Vicente is a barangay in the municipality of Victoria, in the province of Tarlac.

Its population, as determined by the 2020 Census, was 2,192. This represented 3.16%
of the total population of Victoria. It is a lively, lovely, and friendly neighborhood.
However, based on what we observe, San Vicente faces a lot of misdemeanors and
delinquency that might cause a problem for its residents, which is why it raises
questions and concerns about the safety and security of its residents.

When an individual allegedly commits a criminal offense it will be classified either

as an infraction, misdemeanor, or felony. An infraction is the least serious, while
felonies are extremely serious; misdemeanors fall in the middle. In most cases, a
misdemeanor is a crime that carries a sentence of up to six months in jail. Some of the
most common crimes charged as misdemeanors include vandalism, trespassing,
disorderly conduct, and various robberies.
Lack of CCTV cameras in local posts

PURPOSE
This project idea aims to deter crimes and guarantee the citizens' protection and
safety by the use of ICT. ICT act as the bridge way for easier access to
communication and information. It may help our dearest citizens in case of an
emergency. This would help to maintain peace and order and further enhance the
barangay's reputation. Feeling safe and secure in our homes and communities is
fundamental to our ability to work, thrive and enjoy our lives, especially during these
already difficult times.

DESCRIPTION
Our group's goal is to deploy CCTV cameras and establish an online website where
locals can report issues and voice their complaints in order to protect residents' safety
and security as well as further reduce the rates of misbehavior and delinquency in San
Vicente, Victoria, and Tarlac.
CCTV cameras are designed to help prevent and detect crime. It can reassure the
public about community safety. It is also to provide evidence to relevant enforcement
agencies.
The use of an online website to submit confidential or anonymous reports via web,
tablet or mobile. It is to empower witnesses or residents to report a crime, which may
help authorities solve and prevent crimes. It may also contain information available in
an event of an emergency.
While there is no way to completely eliminate risk, as a community and as an
institution we can and will do our utmost to ensure safety and security for all of us,
and to cultivate a community in which we care for each other and ourselves.

SUPPORT
The goal of this project is to raise funds for the installation of CCTV cameras. We
may also seek assistance from local authorities in proposing this project to the
municipal government for funding or from citizens through donations. Local
authorities can go around the residents to collect funds from those who are willing to
give, and they can also donate via online payment, such as G-Cash, PayMaya, etc.

CONTACT INFORMATION
It is our deepest goal to prevent crime and ensure everyone's security in local
areas by protecting members of the public and their property, preventing crime,
reducing the fear of crime, and improving the quality of life for all citizens through
the use of ICT.
