1. What is/are the triggering event/s that act/s as stimulus/stimuli for
strategic change in the given case?
According to the evidence put forth, Lee Kun-Hee should be considered the
new founder of Samsung Electronics and the company should be recognized as
the world's leading high-tech manufacturer of electronics. All businesses aim to
be the best, but in the case of Samsung, I've observed that there are numerous
triggering events that act as catalysts for strategy adjustment. Two different kinds
of triggering events include internal and external environments. The recently
appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Lee Kun-Hee, has maneuvered the
company to change 360 degrees, sending a message to all employees that their
leader is prepared to make a substantial shift for the company.

2. Which characteristic/s of strategic decisions is/are described in the


case study?
The case study's strategic decision has a consequential component. By
changing Samsung Electronics' culture to one that places a high priority on
seniority and adopting merit-based compensation and promotion, the result
relates to strategic decisions involving considerable resources and needing a high
degree of dedication from people at all levels.

3. How will Samsung maintain its successful market position by using


one of the modes in strategic?
The Planning mode relates to Samsung's methodical gathering of pertinent
approach data for scenario analysis, the creation of workable alternative
strategies, and the logical selection of the most suitable plan to maintain its
dominant market position. If they want to grow, they should look for fresh
opportunities that will advance their development and reputation. As soon as Mr.

bottom up with inexpensive items at competitive prices. Sony and Motorola, who
at the time were the undisputed leaders of the globe, outperformed Samsung.
