Greeting of Peace through Jesus!

It is basic policy of Department of Education in the grant of service credit, it should be given
when the head of office has approved the request for such granting of service credits for
teachers on their attendance/participation in special DepEd projects and activities which are
short-term in duration such Mentors’ Training, curriculum writing workshop, planning
workshop, etc., if such are held during the summer vacation or during weekends as
stipulated in DepEd Order No. 53, 2003.

It is in this end, that this office humbly request your office to please grant us to claim Service
Credits (SC) for Teachers and Compensatory Overtime Credit (COC) for Non-Teaching DepEd
personnel who attended the 2 day live-out training/Workshop on Action Research on March
10-11, 2023 at Heroben Hometel, Tagum City.
