Poverty

In the age of modernization, a lot of countries has seen an improvement in their way of living and
infrastructure. However, modernization has neither eliminated poverty nor solved the problem of
poverty. It has been a long problem that our society go through ever since from the past up to this
modern age. Poverty can be solved but cannot be eradicated. It is either that a person or a family can
skip it with a helping hand but in the sense that it cannot last longer. If they have the ability and the
opportunity then they can support their needs and afford basic goods to continue life and skip poverty.

Poverty is not a simple problem that can be solved in a short period of time. In the video, it was said that
some of the absolute poverty rate has fallen in the past 30 years as a result of movement to improve the
quality of life of people living in absolute poverty. Those changes in the rate of absolute poverty has
seen improvements in two countries of India and China. Poverty can be solved by changing the
perspective of people with good governance and proper management in a systematic way, and also with
the support of neighboring countries in order to alleviate the economy of a country. By doing this, it can
provide more equal job opportunities for people in rural and urbanized areas. But this response may
take a longer period of time to see the results. But in other cases some countries may take more years
to see the results. For example, the Sub-Saharan Region of Africa. Today more than half of the world's of
poorest people live in this region. Due to fast urbanization and growing population, this region has seen
a slow improvement of eliminating poverty.

In short, poverty can be solved, but not completely eliminated. We can skip it But we cannot eradicate
it. Rapidly growing population, rapid urbanization, corruption, etc. are some of the factors that may slow
down the transition process. Thus, by focusing on some of this factors we can solve poverty.
