the Egyptian desert animals
o Can we live in the desert ? Why?
Understanding o Explain what are the fennec fox and the
steppe eagle
o Discuss about the problems that face the
animals
Applying o After reading the lesson
1. Which animal has big ears ?
2. Which animal can fly ?
3. Which animal lives about forty years ?

Analyzing o Ask each student which animals scare him ?


o Ask them about the steppe eagle ‘ where it
lives and what does it eat ? ‘

Evaluating o Write what do you know about :

Remembering
 Ask students as a group to write what they
know about the camel

Understanding
 Explain why the camel lives in the desert
 Why the horse can’t live in the desert

Applying Ask students with using the comparative to get the


differences between the horse and the camel in
1. Height
2. Weight
3. The speed
4. How long do they live ?

Evaluating  Write a paragraph disucssing what if the horse live in


the desert
 Search about the camel’s hump
Lesson 4
Remembering
 Asking the students what they know about the
bear and the pelican

Understanding
 Explain the difference between sound ‘p’ and ‘b’
 Explain the meaning of fractions and how we use them
in our everyday life

Applying
 Ask them as a group to do a conversation about
bear and pelican
 Put the pictures in the book in descending order
using fractions

 Get examples of words / animals / things
that start with sound ‘p’ and ‘b’
