INTRODUCTION
DEFINITION AND PURPOSE OF A COLLEGE ADMISSION LETTER
College is one of the most important phases in life a student may go through. It is
the time where you get to choose a course or major in a college or university that
I will eventually lead you into the job that you desire. There are requirements and
processes due when entering a college or university. One of the important
requirements is the college application letter. A college application letter is a letter
given to the Admission Department of a university together with the other
requirements asked by the university. This is an essay that aims to convince a
college to accept a prospective student.

INSTRUCTION
TIPS IN WRITING AN EXCELLENT COLLEGE ADMISSION LETTER
1. Discern the course you want to take
Before applying to any college, you must be sure of the possible academic course
you want to take. Of course, being accepted in top universities is everyone’s
dream, but it is better to choose a school and course that you really want and is a
good fit for you. This would make writing your college admission letter easier
because it comes from the heart.
2. Get to know more about the college
Once you have chosen your prospective schools, research about them or interview
someone from those schools. This will help you in writing your college application
letter and interviews that you might go through.
3. Write to impress
Showing that you know a lot about your prospective school and prospective
program will show that you are really interested to get in. Highlight the things you
admire about them and their impact in the community.
5. Emphasize how being accepted can affect your life
Write how being accepted to their college can affect you as an individual and as a
member of the society.
FORMAT
Introduction
Introduce yourself and state the reasons why you are applying to the school, and
highlight some characteristics you admire about them.
Body
Explain further why the school needs to accept you in their institution. Highlight
dreams or abilities related to your desired course.
Conclusion
State your desire to be accepted in their college, mention that you have attached
the important documents and do not forget to thank them.
