Accomplishment Report
CLFM 2: LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM
(January. 20, 2023)

The Leadership Training Program was conducted on January 20, 2023 at Southern Technological Institute of
the Philippines, Inc. with the theme: “Lead, Inspire, Empower” with the participation of 118 Grade 12 Senior
High School students, We were guided by Madam Corazon R. Mangubat, our Research Director and CLFM II
Instructor at the Southern Technological Institute of the Philippines, Inc.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CRIMINOLOGY 3RD YEAR – BATCH BRAVO


PLANNING
Planning meetings for the Leadership Training Program were conducted during our CLFM II Class
Hours Every Tuesday and Thursday. The meeting minutes, agenda, and procedures for the program were
effectively managed, facilitated, recorded and agreed upon by the majority of the class. In which everything
needed about the program were discussed and all the preparations that were made. Everyone of the class
contributed their ideas which made the planning better and smoother. Although there were so many problems
along the way especially the countless change in venue, the class still managed to accomplish the goal by means
of cooperation.

PURCHASING OF GOODS
The purchasing of goods and materials needed for the Leadership training Program, the
snacks for the participants, the materials needed for the team building games, the rewards for the
winners, and the certificate holders were also included. Also, the things needed for the decoration
and the printing of all the documents were purchased. We accumulated a total of 5000 pesos from
our 150 pesos contribution and with the help of the different committees such as, Finance, and Food
Committee we were able to budget the funds we raised very well.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM DAY

January 20, 2023 Friday Morning at 7:30 am the facilitators were already there at the venue and
prepared the necessary changes and installed the needed things for the presentation, this is headed by Mr.
Angelou Serenado and Ms. Joy Basiga our Technical Directors, they prepared the Projector and the Speakers in
order to have a smooth presentation.

PREPARATION:
REGISTRATION:
Mr. Jamison and his team arrived early at the venue and guide the participants in the registration before
entering the venue..

PROGRAMME PROPER:
Opening Prayer and National Anthem
Before the program started, the Masters of ceremonies asked the participants to turn off their phones for
the proper start of the program then they started sharing the theme and purpose of the event. The Program began
with the invocation Led by Ms, Shane Banacia and then followed by the singing of the National Anthem
through Audio Visual Presentation.
WELCOME ADRESS: Ellona Jeanne Cubero
Ellona Jeanne Cubero, welcomed everyone that attended the event, the guests, the teachers, students,
facilitators and the participants who attended the program. She set the tone for the program. She then described
what's to come and what to expect during the program and get everyone excited for the event. By doing so, she
created an appropriate environment for knowledge sharing.

ICE BREAKER (ZUMBA PRESENTATION): Juanna Resomadero


Since the program started as early as 8 in the morning, the emcees called for an ice breaker which
energized everyone and made them comfortable on listening to the knowledge that are shared.
1ST SPEAKER on LEADERSHIP: Bea Delos Santos
Ms. Bea Delos Santos started the first input about leadership, she discussed the Importance of
Leadership to everyone’s lives and how to train ourselves on becoming good leaders. Her inputs about
leadership captivated the participants since almost everyone can relate to the given examples and scenarios.
After her inputs, one student shared what have he learned from the discussion and he answered “Leadership is
not about authority, but more on Influence”

INTERMISSION: Selected Bravo students


To break the tension from listening to the first speaker, selected Bravo students performed a tiktok dance
as an Intermission number and it was so fun because the dancers were all boys and the dance moves were sexy
dances that are trending on Tiktok so everybody enjoyed and entertained.
2ND SPEAKER ABOUT DECISION MAKING: Ruel Genegaling
The 2nd speaker discussed about decision making skills and processes. Mr. Ruel Genegaling. He was so
good; he easily captured the attention of the participants by making jokes that are related to his Topic. He
shared inputs about How Decision making affects our life and He also shared some of his experiences which is
about making wise decisions in his life.

BASIC SELF DEFENSE PRESENTATION: Johnfrey Latiban and Mark Capunong


with their team members, Yosh Montehermoso, Ivan Taladtad, Rey Granaderos,
and Glenmar Anora

Our very own classmates presented some of the basic skills that a Criminology Student Possess which is
the Basic Self Defense. They showed their skills in TAE KWON DO and amazed the participants. They
performed a total of 6 Self Defense Presentations. Self defense techniques on what to do during critical
situations. With this performance, the participants were able to understand the skills of Criminology students
when it comes to Martial Arts.
BASIC MILITARY DRILLS: Marvin Basut
Basic military drills were shown by our Batch Marcher Mr. Marvin Basut. In Criminology the purpose
of showing the drill to the participants was to show them how the drills enable a commander or non-
commissioned officer to move his unit from one place to another in an orderly manner; to aid in disciplinary
training by instilling habits of precision and response to the leader's orders; and to provide for the development
of everybody.

HEALTH BREAK:
The facilitators distributed the snacks for the guests and for the participants.
INTERMISSION: Arjel Sampayan
While everyone were eating their snacks, one of our classmates Mr. Arjel Sampayan serenaded everyone
for entertainment and it was so amazing since everyone can relate to the song. It felt like it was a concert for
Mr. Sampayan since everyone cheered and shouted and sang along.

INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE: Cogama and Nojara


During this part of the program, Ms. Cogama and Mr. Nojara shared some of their experiences in life,
some hardships that they experienced and how it shaped their character. How they overcomed it and how it
relates to Leadership and Decision Making. The participants were listening carefully and learned about the
speakers’ inspirational messages. they provided with a quick and timely burst of wisdom to get the participants
focus back especially on the importance of education, the speakers offered the inspiration needed for the
program.They shared a quotes that offered inspiration for the week, and inspired and motivated everybody.
TEAM BUILDING GAMES
TOWER BUILDING
To have some fun the facilitators prepared some team building games which would develop the
participants leadership and decision-making skills in working as a team. First, the facilitators divided the
participants according to their sections and asked for 10 member representatives who would play the game.
Goal: Build the highest straw tower as possible.
Preparation: Materials were provided to the players.
– At least 3 packs of straws
– 2 rolls of scotch tape
Mechanics;
1. Split everyone into teams of their sections. Hand each group a pack of straws and a roll of scotch tape.
2.Explain the game: The object of the game is to build the highest straw tower, using only the straw and scotch
tape. The teams were given a couple of minutes to strategize/plan.
3. Give the groups about 10 minutes to build their tower. Facilitators measure how high each team’s straw tower
is. The team with the highest tower wins the game

GARTER RACE
On this game, the participants were grouped into 2 which consisted of boys with 8 members each. The
goal is to reach and turn from the post. Whoever reach the base first wins. The facilitators explained the
mechanics of the game and how it’s played. It requires coordination of the feet while walking in order to walk
with ease and won’t break the garter tied on their feet. They need to strategize on what foot to stride first to
avoid stumbling.
AWARDING OF CERTIFICATES AND PRICES
The awarding of certificates and prizes to the winners of the team building games was awarded by our
Instructor on CFLM 2 Madam Corazon R. Mangubat.

Ms. Igay thanked all those who have helped in carrying out the program. She gave her sincere gratitude
to those whose helped and acknowledged their efforts a1nd full support. She expressed her appreciation to
everyone involved in the success of the program.
CLOSING REMARKS: Leonard Toroba
During this Part of the Program, Mr. Leonard Toroba let the participants know that the program was
about to end. He summarized the whole program and shared that the goals and objectives were met.

CLOSING PRAYER: Joy Basiga


The final part of the program was the Closing Prayer. In this part, it includes being thankful on the
success of the program and the safety of everyone throughout the whole event. The program ends and after this
part were the picture taking.

Dear Lord God, we thank you for the opportunity to gather today. Be with us as we leave this room.

Help us walk with confidence and lead us with your truth as we move forward, praise you, and live

our lives in this world. Accept our gratitude and allow us to depart from this place with a full mind and

soul as we go to various destinations. All these things we pray through your mighty Son, in Jesus’

name. Amen.
