How to Perform an
Audio Download to a
4100ES FACP
4100ES

Follow these steps and click the corresponding movie to view the procedure for downloading audio file(s) to a 4100ES FACP.
1. Connect a serial cable to the Message Download Port of the 4100ES Audio Controller Card.
Note: Verify hardware Baud Rate Jumper Setting is set to 115200.
2. From the 4100ES Programmer, click Transfer, Serial, and then “to Audio Slave…”. The Serial File Transfer screen opens.
3. Click the Settings button, select 115200 and then click OK.
4. Click the “Full” checkbox and then the Browse button.
5. Navigate to the 4100UJOBS folder and then open the specific Job folder.
6. Open the Audio folder and select the .msb file.
7. Click the Download button, read the Upgrade Warning, and then click the Continue button.
8. Use Baud Rate Switch SW1 to take the Audio Controller (SW1) offline and enable the download :
(a. DOWN = LED ON, b. UP = LED Blinks, c. DOWN = LED ON)
9. Back in the Download – Message Library window, click the Start button and then OK when the download completes.
10. Return the Baud Rate Switch to the UP position to complete the procedure.
