Sales Lead Assignment

Overview

The assignment is to work on a sales campaign strategy for the creation of an IoT services
focussed campaign based on the information shared below.

West Agile Labs IoT capabilities are documented as the work done for the below customers,
please ask questions in case of any doubts on the same.

WAL IoT focussed customer case study 1 : Cents

Cents project overview: We built their web/ mobile/ tablet application made from the ground
up. Mainly, basic MVPs were made by clients and later were revamped by WAL. Cents include a
group of 5 different apps which are business owner dashboard, tablet app running in the android
tablet in store, driver app for internal drivers, tab app for residences, live link (online ordering).
Integrated IoT device which will communicate with the washing machine/ cloud when given
commands. Reporting to business owners about the usage of the machines.

The technology stack used:


For the platform development, we used ReactJS, NodeJS Mobile: ReactNative,
Raspberry pie with Python and C++ codebase, it is a microcontroller which controls the washing
machine. Backend is deployed in AWS.

To communicate between the Cents platform and the smart device we use MQTT low powered
operating device. We have optimized the app platform to run on devices like Raspberry Pie,
Jetson Nano, and so on.
WAL IoT focussed customer case study 2 : Drop Water

Drop Water has a water delivery platform similar to kiosk systems at airports, railway stations
where we put money and get products. In the drop water kiosk we get health drinks/ normal
water which are pre-packed bottles or loose drinks which we can collect in our own bottles.

We worked on their IoT based kiosk platform and software backend to integrate React/Node
based features and improve the kiosk device software

Tech Stack used : Python and React development


Hardware used: Nvidia https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/jetson-nano-developer-kit

We have done development on the above device and ReactJS code. Hardware commands are
sent to the Arduino board on the kiosk.

platforms using IoT devices
● Region: USA & Canada
● # of employees: 100 minimum upto 5000, Engineering team at least 50 people
● Key profiles to target:
○ Founders (where company size is small)
○ Engineering
○ Automation
○ Hardware/Design Solutions
○ Any other keywords related to IoT, smart devices, connected device platforms,
etc,
What’s the assignment?

● Create an IoT industry-focussed sales campaign strategy that will include


○ Brief description of the above case studies to present WAL as an software
consulting partner
○ Resources for research and gaining an understanding of the domain - IoT and
associated industries
○ Prospecting channels and cadence for outreach
○ What will your prospecting email/Linkedin message be for the campaign? Create
a draft of the message/email based on the information above and share that
○ What platforms will be useful to find leads? Any specific tools to be used
○ What will be the activities performed to generate leads?
○ Define (at a high level) the process that you will follow (keep it brief with a focus
on the key touchpoints)
○ The numbers in terms of leads on a weekly/monthly basis that you will aim to
generate via this campaign
○ Process and tools to find information/research needed for lead generation
○ Any other details necessary to plan the campaign
○ Keep in mind this campaign strategy and execution should be created such that
both you and/or the inside sales team should be able to execute and deliver
results
