A tail-light kit has been developed for FRgen1 with the aim of fitting the cars with endplate lights.

1.1 ENDPLATE-LIGHT OVERVIEW
FIA homologated endplate lights are fitted. To allow the installation new rear endplates have been
developed. Please find reference in the picture below

Please note the distinction Lh and Rh for the endplate lights is just to ease parts management, they can be
installed either way on left or right side.
The endplate light loom cover may be fixed with tape or bonded to the endplates. To better fit the cover and
the loom routing is possible to locally trim the part. It is allowed to fill the gaps between endplate and loom
cover.

1.2 BEAM WING UPDATE
To allow the routing of the endplate light loom is necessary to drill the current beam wing (2403021) adding
two holes on the bottom surface.
Position and size of the holes are shown in the following diagram (shown dimension are projected on a plane
perpendicular to fixation holes).

Please find in paragraph 1.6 the Drawing 2 reporting dimensions in 1:1 scale.
The scope of the Drawing 1 and Drawing 2 is to give reference position for drilling the existing parts and does
not have any regulatory purpose.

It is suggested to fit cable grommets to prevent the EP light loom from chafing. Please refer to the picture
below for reference.

1.3 REAR LIGHT
A new FIA approved rear light, capable of commanding the endplate light, is fitted. An adaptor loom is
necessary to connect the new rear light and the endplate lights to the existing car looms.

1.4 ELECTRONICS MANAGEMENT
The command of the new rear light trio requires a Powerbox PSD-09 firmware update.
The Powerbox is managed by Tatuus, please get in touch with your usual contact to manage the update.
