1.1 Overview of RESPICARE HiFent TM high flow respiratory heated humidifier system
TM
RESPICARE HiFent high flow respiratory heated humidifier system , As shown in figure,It is a microprocessor-
controlled adjustable flow rate and humidified respiratory treatment auxiliary system.
For HiFent TM,the screen showing includes multi-function keys such as display working mode, monitoring oxygen
concentration, flow rate and temperature setting, etc. Real - time interface display and system alarm user interface.
HiFent TM is characterized by a centrifugal blower generating air flow as well as hardware and software platforms,
patients can be provided with humidification by adjusting the flow rate, temperature
and oxygen concentration,Fixed flow of air or oxygen.The system will alarm automatically when it is running due to
improper use or failure

2. Warning and Attention
● The therapeutic device cannot be used for life support.

3. Operating principles and instructions
Begin to use
Connection of device
Connect the device according to the device connection method.
Set the parameters
Please set the parameters under the guidance of the doctor. If you continue the previous setting, skip
this one.When on the top right corner of setting the interface lock appears,the setting parameters
cannot be changed.When the lock is opened, the setting parameters can
be changed.In the system layout interface ,the setting parameters can be changed.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance
HUMID-BHR/HUMID-BH/HUMID-BM series High-Flow Heated Respiratory Humidifiers achieves
humidification by water. If regular cleaning, disinfection and replacement of parts are not carried out, the
instrument may be at risk of bacteria and patient infection.
The respiratory humidification therapeutic instrument must be cleaned after use each time and before use
again.It must be cleaned and disinfected in case it is used for different patients.
Cleaning
Daily cleaning: tubes, nasal cannulas, HUMID-BH humidification chamber
After use, run the dry mode, remove and wash the nasal cannulas with clean water, and then connect the
tubes and dry the nasal cannulas; after drying, remove the HUMID-BH chamber for water rinse.
Weekly cleaning: respiratory humidification therapeutic instrument, nasal cannulas, HUMID-BH
humidification chamber.
Disconnect the instrument from the power, remove the nasal cannulas, HUMID-BH humidification chamber
and wash the nasal cannulas with warm water added with neutral detergent.
Warning: HUMID-BM humidification box, heating tubes are forbidden to be cleaned.
Use a clean, lint-free disposable cloth damped with neutral detergent to wipe from both ends of the elbow,
making sure that all dirties is removed.
Use a piece of alcohol cotton to wile the elbow and its vicinity, making sure that all dirties is removed.
! Warnings:To prevent electric shock, the power of positive-pressure ventilating therapeutic instrument
should be cut off before cleaning.
Do not place the positive-pressure ventilating therapeutic instrument in any of the liquid environment.
Operating mode :
Preheat
Long press the start/stop button for 3 seconds to start the therapeutic device

When standby, preheat or ready, press the mute button for 3 seconds to start the transportation function in the condition
of low power consumption without heating the humidification pot ; After 20 minutes, it enters the preheating state
with heating the humidification pot .
End
At the end of using ,first remove the nasal cannula, disconnect the oxygen source, long press the on/off button for 3
seconds, then entering the drying mode, the humidifier will give a sound and screen reminder to turn off the oxygen, and
make sure to turn off the oxygen source.After that, press the on/off button gently to cancel the alert status.The drying
mode is to dry the circuit by heating the circuit for 99 minutes. After the end, the device will be in standby mode.
At this time, external power needs to be turned off.If want to turn off the drying mode forcibly, pls press the on/off button
again for 3 seconds, but the moisture stored in the circuit may be affects to reuse.
Warning: after use, be sure to turn off the oxygen to avoid the accumulation of oxygen in the therapeutic device .
Warning: do not wear a nasal cannula during drying to avoid heat damage.
