Governor of West Vaginia MEMORANDUM To: Colonel Jan Cahill, West Virginia State Police FROM: Brian Abraham, Chief of Staff DATE: March 2, 2023 RE: Investigative Request #6 At the direction of Governor Jim Justice, the Department of Homeland Security has been directed to investigate multiple allegations of potential improper or alleged criminal actions occurring within the administration of the West Virginia State Police. Pursuant to the provisions detailed in West Virginia Code §§15A-1-9 and 5F-2-1, Secretary Jeff S. Sandy requests the West Virginia State Police shall provide electronic data, including all communications and documents for the below-named state employees.
