PRESENT: Public Speaking and Presentation Skills Tutor

Currently teaching public speaking and presentation skills to a range of international professionals and
students (online). I use several key presentation frameworks including P.R.E.P, Pros and Cons, and
classical rhetorical techniques to improve my students' public speaking confidence and ability at work
and in academic environments.

for Specific Purposes in the tourism and hospitality business sector. Taught presentation Skills and English for
Presentations, Research Methodology for TEFL, Academic Writing, Intermediate English and Reading, and

2013-2014: English Language Instructor, US Embassy, Yangon, Myanmar (Rangoon, Burma)

Taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at the US Embassy's American Center, Rangoon. I worked
individually and with colleagues to develop and deliver course materials while providing guidance to
students on an individual basis. As an employee of the US Embassy and State Department, I received
medical, security, and cyber security clearance for this position.

2011 - Multimedia Training of Asian Youth Group, Y.A.H.R.D

Trained the Cambodian youth group (Y.A.H.R.D.) in the operation of a local movie festival event I
founded in Cambodia called CamboFest (http://www.cambofest.com) Youth learned to operate gear
while contributing to programming decisions; effort culminated with the Cambodian premiere of
‘Nanook of the North’*, including live Khmer translation by the youth group

2010 - Directing and Documentary Production, Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok, Thailand

 Developed curriculum and taught production and postproduction techniques for documentary video
making to second year students at SWU in Bangkok, Thailand. With instruction in English, students
learned the directing and acting craft while learning to budget for video productions, develop story
concepts, operate cameras and other gear, frame shots, edit, and mix audio in order to deliver final
projects.

2009 - Communications Lecturer, Pannasastra University, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Taught journalism and fundamentals of communication at Pannasastra University, Cambodia, in their
English language Communications program. Topics included marketing communications, print and
broadcast journalism concepts, ethics of journalism, news writing & editing, and an overview of the
role of media in society.

2005 - Video Production Instructor, Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Designed and taught curriculum, sourced hardware, and helped establish Cambodia’s first ever
University-level media production course at RUPP, Department of Media and Communications.
Students produced, edited, and output a broad variety of projects in team-based production units.

2002 – Digital Media Instructor, Parsons School of Design, New York City
Taught digital video production to first year graduate students at Parsons School of Design, New York
City. Practical components included production planning, shooting, editing, and online distribution
using then-emerging platforms and technologies. Theoretical components included aesthetics and
