1. Assets

Every business has assets, All businesses need assets to produce products or sell services.

“As of September 2006, the company reported having $12.9 billion in assets, $82 million in
net earnings, and $1 billion in premiums and net worth”

2. Liabilities

Included in liabilities are loans, credit payments due, taxes, or any other form of debt in which
you are obligated to pay.

“To national debts there has been added a great mass of municipal and local indebtedness,
which seems likely to equal, or even exceed in magnitude the liabilities of the central
governments.”

3. Branding

“Advertising campaigns also add to a company's image and branding, and many cruise lines
use similar commercials, promotional materials, and other advertisements to promote their
vacations”

4. Contract

“If the debtor did not cultivate the field himself he had to pay for the cultivation, but if the
cultivation was already finished he must harvest it himself and pay his debt from the crop. If
the cultivator did not get a crop this would not cancel his contract”
 5. Investment

“A competing company decides to make an up-front investment and build a new factory in a
distant land, high in the mountains where residents who choose to live there have less economic
opportunity”
