The body is referred to as the physical self. For the body to carry out many of its
activities, including breathing, walking, eating, and sleeping, internal organs and external
extremities must cooperate. As a person ages, their body's capacity to carry out its functions
steadily declines.
As a person who has existed for 18 years in this world, I would say that the body is a
complex machine that requires maintenance in order for it to function properly. The physical
self is made up of many different systems working together in order to provide for basic
human needs such as nourishment, movement and waste removal. The maintenance of
these systems involves multiple organ systems working together to keep the body
functioning at an optimal level as well as preventing disease or injury from occurring.
As I get older, I could say how my body changes and how I also have to make some
changes, like doing physical activities and exercises. The body requires regular exercise in
order to maintain muscle strength and flexibility while also maintaining bone density so that
bones do not become brittle with age. Exercise also helps increase brain activity by
increasing blood flow throughout the body which gives people more energy and motivation
for exercise even after they have stopped exercising regularly.
The most important part of maintaining one's physical self is eating healthy food that has
been properly prepared according to health standards such as avoiding foods that are high
in fat content like fried foods
Physical self is a part of our physical body. The body is referred to as the physical self. For
the body to carry out many of its activities, including breathing, walking, eating and sleeping,
internal organs and external extremities must cooperate. As a person ages, their body's
capacity to carry out its functions steadily declines.
• Hereditary: We inherit physical characteristics from our parents. These include height and
weight along with facial features like the nose shape or earlobes. In addition to genetics, we
also inherit from our parents other factors that can contribute toward health or illness such as
their behavior patterns, stress levels and diet (i.e., what they ate). This can have an impact
on both the individual's physical health status and future generations of family members.
• Environmental: The environment in which we live has a significant impact on our health
status as well as our lifestyle choices (i.e., exercise habits). For example, living near busy
highways increases pollution exposure which may affect lung function and lead to asthma
symptoms for some people living in urban areas compared with rural areas where there may
be less traffic noise or industrial pollutants in the air (i.esmog).
