II. RATIONALE

Fire risk is the harm potential and consequences in terms of loss of life, fire
spread, and damage. Thus, it is important and necessary in school to prevent and
protect against the destruction caused by fire. Developing and implementing fire safety
protocols in the workplace is not only required by law but is crucial to everyone safety
that may be in the building during a fire emergency which reduces the risk of injury and
building damage that fires can cause.

With this, the Senior High School Students of Tinago National High School will be
conducting a “Fire Prevention Month with the title, “Keeping safe in a Digital World: A
Youth Event on Fire Prevention and Media Literacy”. Its main goal is to remind everyone
in the school of best practices to avoid creating a fire risk and promote a safe place for
all.

III. OBJECTIVES:

a) To discuss best practices and measures to avert fire risk in the event situation
arises in the school vicinity.
b) To promote school – community-based preventive and coping strategies for all
kinds of emergencies

IV. METHODOLOGY

students. The following undertakings shall be carried out to come up with a well
carefully planned in-service training:

Functions:
1. Write communication letter to respective speakers/training-faces,
service vehicle, training venue if not in school, sponsorship
letters and forward them to respective committees for distribution
(coordinate the names from the proponent).
2. Ensure availability of training materials such as manila
paper/cartolina, pentel pen, customized notebook and pencil/ball
pen, name tags, strips of colored papers, etc. (request materials
from the procurement and in case of excess return them
accordingly).
