This document honors the author's mother, Tiffany Emery, and describes how she saved his life. As a single mother of three boys, she went through depression after her husband passed away but always made sure her sons ate before she did during difficult financial times. She found ways to get them out of bad situations, even if it meant getting into trouble herself. The author calls her the woman who saved his life because she ensured he and his brothers were cared for while dealing with her own hardships. Now happily remarried with her sons pursuing sports, she has a job she loves.

This Is my mom the woman who I’ve been through everything with, from watching her cry because of my father passing away I’ve seen her go through a lot of [Darnell Emery]
depression. She also made sure we ate before she did
when we were going through a very hard time in life it was kinda hard for her being a single mother with 3 boys. But she always found a way to get through it and she found a way to get us out of the bad situation even if it meant she had to get in trouble she always did everything for me and my little brothers to make sure we were good. That is why I call her the woman who saved my life because not only she made sure me and my brothers were good she was going through a very hard time but she couldn’t stop being a mother. My mom is now in a relationship with D’vaughn Mcgill (My step-dad) the guy in the photo, she is now happy in life she’s gotten out of a very bad situation and have 3 smart boys and they are all in sports, and she has a great job that she loves orking at now.
