THE CRAG OF GLORY

Located in the Vereda El Tabor, a place of great cultural and historical importance. It is a hill that is approximately
three hundred and eighty meters high. From this place you can see the panoramic view of the Sierra Nevada de
Güicán, Cocuy and Chita on its western side; the urban center of the municipality of Güicán and the Nevado River
canyon.
It is the most representative place of the municipality since in this place took place the collective death of the U'was,
in that high black rock where a historical fact was marked at the time of the arrival of the Spaniards.

Monserrate Shrine

The Sanctuary of Monserrate is located in Vereda el Calvario ( three thousand eight hundred and twenty-eight

Güicán Hot Springs

In the municipality of Güicán de la Sierra there are three places where you can enjoy the thermal waters, completely
natural, without any type of treatment. Sweet waters, rich in phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, manganese, sulfates,
iron, chloride, zinc, among other minerals. These waters have bioelements favorable for health and relief of poor
circulation, multiple rheumatic diseases, arthritis, fatigue, bone and nervous system ailments. They contain a high
therapeutic and relaxing

power. They soften the skin, soothe the nervous system, reconstitute and tone, stimulate the body's defenses.

The following options are available to enjoy the thermal waters in the municipality:

Located in the village of San Antonio de la Cueva, at an altitude of approximately three thousand seven hundred and
fifty meters above sea level. It is a cave that is located under a large rock on the banks of the snowy river, where the

pilgrimage every year on February 2, to venerate the Virgin Morenita patron saint of Güicán.
