MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY

Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedure must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises, and remedial activities may be done for developing
content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons.
Weekly objectives shall be derived from the Curriculum Guides.
A. Content The learners demonstrate an
Standard understanding of the use of hand
tools and equipment for computer
systems servicing.

SCRAMBLED LETTERS ON THE
FIRST LAYER OF THE PAPER BALL.
• IF THE STUDENT DROPS THE BALL,
THE TEACHER WILL THROW IT
BACK AT THE CIRCLE.

 At the end of the lesson, the
learners will be able to :

Identify and select appropriate hand

tools according to the task requirements.

Hand tools are essential for day-to-day

jobs. They have been used by humans
since ancient times to complete various
useful tasks. If you want the best results
for your work, it is very important to
know their construction and proper
usage. Lack of knowledge may lead to
injuries and mistakes.

Introduction

Hand tools can be just as dangerous s

power tools and other equipment when
not properly used.

USING HAND TOOLS

A hands tool is a device for performing

work on a material or a physical system
using only hands. The hand tools can be
manually used employing force or
electrically powered, using electrical
circuit.

The hand tools can be manually

used employing force, or
electrically powered, using
Electrical current.

Examples of Hand Tools:

Flat head screwdriver

–used to loosen or tighten slotted
screws.

Philips head screwdriver

–used to loosen or tighten
crosshead screws.
Torx screwdriver
-used to loosen or tighten screws that
have a star
-like depression on the top, a feature
that is mainly found on laptop.

Hex driver
–sometimes called a nut driver, is
used to tighten nuts in the same way
that a screwdriver tightens screws.

Needle-nose plier
–used to hold small parts.

Wire cutter
–used to strip and cut wires.

Tweezers
–used to manipulate small parts

Part retriever
–used to retrieve parts from
location that are to small for your hand
to fit

Flashlight
–used to light up areas that you
cannot see clearly.
Soldering Iron
- is a hand tool used to heat solder,
usually from an electrical supply at high
temperatures above the melting point of
the metal alloy.

Soldering Lead
- is commonly used for electronics
where heat sensitive components will
begin to melt, crack, or warp at varying
high temperatures.
-also provides good electrical properties
as well as mechanical strength.
-ensures that electronic components are
joined securely to contact points.
A desoldering pump (or solder sucker)
- is a handy tool that sucks molten
solder.
- use it to desolder through-hole
components on a circuit board or to
rework bad solder joints.

Multimeter
–used to test the integrity of circuits
and the quality of electricity in
computer components.

each group should be a diverse group
(singers, dancers and Artist) (the teacher
will facilitate in the goupings). For each
group they will perform the following;
