The Heart of it All: Downtown

Overview:

The next thing I will be talking about is the downtown of Saratoga Springs. Downtown

Saratoga brings so many different things to do and see which makes for a fun day or night.

Between restaurants, shops, bars, there is a lot of places to makes stops at while you are there.

There are also various activities that you can partake in downtown as well. Something that you

should definitely stop at if you’re in town.

The Good:

Heading downtown leaves you with so many options for things to do. There are tons of

different restaurants,

bars, and activities.

Chances are you can find

something that interests

you and will be

something you want to

The main thing people will think of when they think downtown is the restaurants. There

are lots of restaurants of all different kinds of foods to choose from. Whatever you are craving,

you will be able to find most likely. A couple of the most popular places to eat downtown

includes Druthers, Cantina, and Morrissey’s. Along with lots of great breakfast and lunch
options, there are also many great breakfast options. Compton’s, Sweet Mimi’s, and Uncommon

Grounds all give you great option of delicious breakfast foods to start your day off.

There’s a bunch of activities as well downtown if you are looking to do more than just

eat. Some of the popular attractions include walk through Congress Park, paint and sip, creative

sparks, and the

movie theater. With

a wide range of

activities, there

should be

something for

people of all ages.

shopping is a popular choice while being there. There’s a vast varied of stores including Piper

Boutique, Impressions of Saratoga, and Lifestyles of Saratoga that are nice to shop around in.

The Bad:
There isn’t much bad regarding downtown Saratoga Springs. The only thing that can be

negative is how busy it gets in the summer. With the crowd that comes in for track and SPAC

season, downtown gets very busy. You must make sure you plan out your visit including making

reservations. Not much else bad can be said about downtown, it is an awesome place to go and

see.

For Kids:
 Downtown Saratoga has a couple of options for kids. One of them is there is a carousel in

Congress Park that they can ride. Also, Creative Sparks and the movies are two great activities

that kids can love and have a great time at. With so many restaurants downtown, there is

something that the kids will like.
