Before starts for annul servicing checked all the gyro parameters, Found within the limits. Now powered it OFF, waited for Sensitive Element to stop spinning. After that carried out annual gyro servicing as per standard OEM procedure. During servicing opened cover of master gyro compass, Checked Gyro Sensitive Element level, found ok. Checked internal wiring connections for any loose contact/damage, found all intact. Carried out STEP motor assembly checks, found motor axis rotation is smooth. Checked and cleaned Slip-ting & Brush assembly properly. After servicing covered up the gyro compass & switched it ON. Gyro compass powered up normally & started to follow up sequence properly. After 04 hours gyro is settled to its meridian. Checked gyro heading in all the Interconnected navigational equipments, found following as per master gyro compass. Annual servicing is carried out successfully and gyro compass is working satisfactorily without any alarm.
