ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT OF SAN JUAN FIRE


STATION FOR CY 2022
San Juan Fire Station was established on September 14, 2015; hence, it
has been operating for more than seven (7) years now. At present, it is
composed of nineteen (19) personnel headed by SINSP EDGAR C CULATON,
Municipal Fire Marshal. Throughout those years, this fire station continues to
give relentless and undivided service to our constituents pursuant to the Bureau
of Fire Protection’s motto to “Save Lives and Properties”. For Calendar Year
Twenty-Twenty Two (2022), BFP San Juan Fire Station has once again proven
its dedication to implementing the Fire Code of the Philippines as shown by the
following enumerated accomplishments.

In terms of fire prevention, San Juan Fire Station has inspected a total of
1,564 old and new establishments, surpassing the target which is only 1,520,
thus, garnering a 102.89% accomplished inspection. When it comes to Fire
Code Fees Collection, San Juan Fire Station has collected a total of
Php1,524,221.00 from Php1,293,184.45 in 2021, hence, a 15.16% increase was
achieved. On the other hand, as per the record of Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan
(OLP), one of the flagship programs of the Bureau of Fire Protection in fire
prevention, San Juan Fire Station has conducted ten (10) OLP on the Road,
monitored ten (10) Enhanced Community, posted Two Hundred Seventy-Nine
(279) Fire Safety Tips and Materials on social media, and enabled ten (10)
establishments to become KAISA partners.

Further, in the field of fire suppression, San Juan Fire Station has
recorded only ONE (1) fire incident in the year 2022. This one incident was the
one that transpired at Brgy. Dasay, San Juan, La Union because of a faulty
electrical connection. Compared to CY 2021 when a total of six (6) fire
incidents were recorded, a total of 83.33% decrease was noted.

Lastly, some best practices of San Juan Fire Station were noted and are
continuously conducted up to the status quo. Last 2022, this station was able to
formulate Community Fire Auxiliary Group at nineteen (19) barangays

including Cabaroan, Allangigan, Bambanay, Cabugnayan, Sto. Rosario,
Nagsabaran, Balballosa, Legleg, Duplas, Dangdangla, Cacapian,
Guinguinabang, Bacsayan, Nagyubuyuban, Dinanum, Nadsaag, Dasay, and
others. Fire Drills were also conducted on the different business establishments
in the municipality. Further, despite the absence of an ambulance/PTV/RTV,
this station responds to vehicular accidents in the area. Four (4) vehicular
accidents, one (1) medical case at Brgy. Duplas, and one (1) Swift Water
Rescue at Brgy. Nagsabaran were recorded under Emergency Medical Services
(EMS). These accomplishments were through the effort of the whole San Juan
Fire Station family who pledges to continue their fearless service for the
betterment of constituents.
