from the Spanish Language. In reading the poem, you'll observe that word mostly starts with "C"

2. PAGSUSULATAN NG DALAUANG BINIBINI NA SINA URBANA AT FELIZA.

Why is the letter “Sa Katungkulan sa Bayan” be deemed important to men during the period?

 It has shown that "Sa katungkulan sa Bayan" is an example of a crown bestowed upon a
gentleman who knows how to carry out his responsibilities. I believe the letter is significant
because it exemplifies the qualities of a leader. A leader who can serve his town with love and
honor while carrying out all of his responsibilities. The letter offers the reader a decision as to
who is right and who is able to carry out the duties of office.

3. EDUCATION GIVES LUSTER TO MOTHERLAND

What are the experiences of the Filipinos during the Spanish era which are reflected in the poem?
Give only one and cite lines from the poem to support your answer.

 In the poem, the experiences of the Filipinos during the Spanish era are all expressed in terms of
Christianity. We already know that Christians in Spain have a strong influence on us. Christianity
has since emerged, and during the early years of Spanish colonization, the Church governed most
educational activities. Spanish missionaries and friars educated the natives and converted them to
Catholicism. As we all know, Dr. Jose Rizal mentions and acknowledges Christianity, which was
founded by Spaniards, "Christian education always procures." In this line, Rizal also highlights
the importance of Christian education as opposed to education that is spiritually devoid, which he
obviously views as a key tenet.

4. TAPUNAN NG LINGAP
What is the purpose of Andres Bonifacio in writing the poem? Cite two lines from the poem to
support your answer.

 “KUPKUPIN MO NAMA’T ITURO ANG LANDAS

NG KATAHIMIKAN AT MAGANDANG PALAD;”
This section of the poem demonstrates Andres Bonifacio's eagerness to learn what they can do to
obtain the freedom they want from the maltreatment of Spaniards.

 “SA PAKIKIBAKA’Y TAPUNAN NG LINGAP

KALULUWA NAMING NANG DU MAPAHAMAK”

Andres Bonifacio created it while they were being mistreated by the Spanish. This reminds his
fellow countrymen that they shouldn't be afraid of their struggles because God might be able to
assist them and provide grace for them.
