COMMENT ON THESE ISSUES IN RELATION TO THE TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH.

Inability to decide on things that will help a person grow as a well-functioning individual as he/she often
relies on decision according to the norms of the society. For the longest time, were meant to believe in the
idea of going to school, getting a degree, being financially stable and settling down with someone to start
and build a family with. This has been a ladder of achievement we were set to attain over time. Marriage
and giving birth have been partnered with the essence and major role of the women in the society.
However, as beliefs, laws, influence, and continued education to people, we eventually can know our
options as to where we are comfortable with. Marriage and childbirth have become a personal option and
not a ladder of achievement as described by the norms of society. One’s worth and dignity will and
should never feel less if it does not align to what most people choose to live with. Deciding for one’s
body, welfare and path should be aligned to what he/she aspires to live his/her life with.
