Evaporative Cooler
Vegetables can now be preserved for three to four days using evaporative coolers. The technology
is a viable alternative to mechanical refrigeration for fruits and vegetables. This low-cost cooler that
requires low operating cost can be benefit the vegetable retailers and traders especially those in
the wet market level.

Features
lThis storage system works with charcoal as a cooling pad, water
reservoir, submersible pump, fan and storage chamber.
lThere are two prototype designs - a display-type and a cabinet- type
evaporative cooler. The display-type evaporative cooler is intended for
vegetable retailers. The cabinet-type is for vegetable retailers, traders and
farmers who plan to store their harvests during peak season.
