Engineering (Dev & DevOps)


Positions in this function typically involve providing network related analysis, design, and integration services. This
includes coordination between clients, vendors, and other internal support services and includes both data and voice.
Tasks include the following:
•Build, design, & deploy networks
•Monitor network infrastructure
•Respond to and resolve network incidents
•Analyze issues to detect recurring problems
• Assess severity of network issues
•Maintain knowledge/technical documents
•Identify end-user requirements

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Monitors performance and availability using appropriate tools and instrumentation


▪ Gathers and compares data against criteria to assess system performance
▪ Follows documented procedures in the installation and migration of systems
▪ Follows documented procedures in the installation and migration of systems; ensures service availabili ty but follows
best practices
▪ Gathers and compares data against criteria to assess system monitoring
▪ Understands and adheres to the IM process and policies
▪ Understands and adheres to the process and policies for problem management.

▪ Interprets security standards and applies to own work
▪ Identifies relevant security standards that apply to own work and adheres to protocols
▪ Understands security risks & implications when evaluating solutions
▪ Knowledgeable about current security controls

Qualifications:
• Degree in Bachelor’s of Technology/ Engineering (B.Tech/B.E) in CS/IT/ECE/EE/EIE.
• Degree in Master of Computer Application.

Technical Skills:
• Has responsibility and capability to work a single primary platform
• Works with guidance or on routine issues/activities
• Follows procedures
