a) How will you show your love of our country? (5 points)


There are many methods to show your affection for your nation. Although being patriotic is the most
proper way to show your love, being patriotic involves respecting our flag, singing the national song
with emotion, learning about, and practicing Philippine culture and heritage, and supporting local
businesses. Affection for our own country can also be expressed through respect and other factors.

b) Write your three (3) plans for showing your love for our country. (10 points)
1. Be a responsible citizen. Participate in the political process to show your love for your nation.
2. Study the history of your country.
3. wear patriotic colors. By wearing patriotic colors this will show your love for your country.

Part II.

1. If the government has the prime duty to serve and protect its citizens, in return, what is our
responsibility to the state? (10 points)
Being a responsible citizen is the duty of the people. That includes acting as lawfully as
possible, to the fullest extent possible, paying respect to the government. respect of the law.
paying tax payments.

2. Why is it that the government recognizes the important role of the youth in nation building? (10
points)
The government is aware of the crucial part that youth play in developing a nation because they will
someday become its future leaders. Since the future of the world depends on these youth, the
government need to help them become young leaders today.

the National Service Training Program.

1706. Presidential Decree No. 1706, otherwise known as the "National Service Law", was signed into
law on 8 August 1980. It made national service obligatory for all Filipino citizens and specified three
categories of national service: civic welfare service, law enforcement service and military service.
Republic Act of 7077, also known as the Citizen Armed Force or Armed Forces of the Philippines
Reservist Act, is signed by Corazon Aquino into law on June 27, 1991. The Act provided for the
organization, training, and utilization of reservists or Citizen Soldiers.

the NSTP Act of 2001 aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the
youth by the developing ethics of service and patriotism while undergoing training in any of its three
(3) program components: (1.) The Reserved Officers Training Corps (ROTC), (2.)

3 COMPONENTS:
Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Republic Act no. 7077 The Reserve Officers' Training Corps
(ROTC) is one component of the NSTP program. It is designed to provide military training to citizen
soldiers in order to motivate, train, organize, and mobilize them for national defense preparedness.
The Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) is one of three components of the National Service
Training Program, a civic education and defense preparedness program for higher and vocational
education students in the Philippines.
Literacy Training Service (LTS) is a program designed to train students to teachers of literacy and
numeracy skills to school children, out- of- school youth and other segments of society in need of
their services.
