NON-FICTION

People are interested in nonfiction because it is based on true experiences, and true events
that allow people to use what they have learnt to their daily lives and routines. It also
stems from how they write; we can see that the objective of nonfiction writing is to
inform, instruct, narrate, convince, and answer. Aside from people being interested in
non-fiction because it is factual, people are interested in non-fiction because it provides
readers with practical advice on how to improve their life, whether in their careers,
relationships, or personal well-being. Therefore, in order to receive this practical advice
on what they are viewing, they must have a thorough comprehension of what they are

in.

MYSTERY

Fascination is connected to mysteries, whether it is fictional or real, properly understood

or only hinted at. A mystery setting quickly fascinates us as a potential source of
unexpected knowledge, and it is thus a source of fascination.

In my opinion, mystery appeals to everyone, assuming you are the type of person who is
always curious about what will happen next. A mystery remains a mystery until it is
solved, and what makes the plot of a mystery so engaging and fascinating is some of the
cliffhangers authors include in their work, making people eager to know what happens
next and immersing them into what they are viewing. Mystery also allows us to guess
who is the killer or who is guilty, which adds to the fun of feeling like you are a part of
the author's work. The goal of the mystery genre is to improve critical thinking and
problem solving skills in individuals and groups of viewers. Additionally, since the
author permits us to ponder while the work is being displayed, we can already employ
our critical thinking abilities on the spot, whether unconsciously or consciously.
