IV. PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing the previous lesson or a. Flash pictures to the screen and ask for ideas from the learners

A hazard is anything with the potential to cause harm


Example: working at height on scaffolding
The likelihood that a hazard will cause a specified harm to
someone
For example, if there are no guard rails on the scaffolding, a
construction worker will likely fall and break a bone

Activity: Let the students analyze the statements and say


whether they are hazardous, or risky.

F. Application To maintain a safe workplace, write down five (5) things you
must do while inside the classroom. Write your answers in your
notebook.

H. Making generalizations and abstraction To generalize the lesson, the students should answer the
following questions:
1. Give the difference between hazard and risk.
2. What are the common OHS when working with a computer?
3. Why is it important to follow OHS policy?

I. Evaluating learning Directions: Write TRUE if the statement is correct; otherwise,


write FALSE.

opening a case and performing services.
______3. It is a best practice that a fire extinguisher and first aid
kit be available in the workplace.

______9. Know where the fire extinguisher is located and learn

circuit.
J. Assignment Write ten (10) safety measures/rules at home in your notebook.
