1. Introduction

This document describes how to install the diagnostic software for the ECR 326-327 truck,
designed by the Jungheinrich DesignCenter Houston for MCFA and the North American
market. The diagnostic software is proprietary software of Curtis Instruments and can be
started via the Jungheinrich JUDIT diagnostic software.

2. System requirements

The system requirements to install the software are:

 PC with Windows 7 operating system and available administrator rights

 Valid licence (SecurityClient) for the Jungheinrich diagnostic system
 JUDIT 4 – CD from R. 4.25 "MCFA Version"

3. Installation

Administrator rights are required for the installation.

Insert the JUDIT 4 CD and open it in Explorer. In Explorer, right-click on "Judit-4-

Installer.exe" and in the context menu that appears select "Run as Administrator". This will
install JUDIT and the corresponding diagnostic project for the ECR 327-336, provided it is
in the licence.
Now navigate in Explorer in the "C:\Program Files\Jungheinrich AG\Diagnose\Judit-
3\Projekte\ECR_3xx_2012\Curtis_ECR_3xx_2012" folder and right-click on "Installer.exe".
In the context menu that appears select again "Run as Administrator" to start installing the
diagnostic software for the ECR 327-336. The installer automatically detects the operating
system version (32 bit/64 bit) and guides you through the installation with dialog. You must
install the diagnostic software in the following directory:

„C:\Program Files\Curtis Instruments\CurtisCan Programming Tool”

After installing, re-boot the computer in order to set certain system variables that are
required.
