Sporting event has always been the backbone of the youth to improve and develop
their skills and talents and promote camaraderie and good sportsmanship. During
the times that we are enclosed in the four corners of our home, minding about our
health and safety, all the sporting events were cancelled. Gyms were locked and
youth were forced to be on their phone and development became stagnant.

During the early months of this year, more and more gyms were opened thus
opening doors also for athletes to be back on their feet and play the game they love
the most. Moreover, different leagues both in district and province-wide were
organized.

VolleyFriends San Teodoro Volleyball Association, a non-recognized organization for

volleyball enthusiasts of San Teodoro, will be having their One-Day League on
December 11, 2022 at the municipal gymnasium. The said endeavor aims the
following:

1. Invite more youth to develop their skills in volleyball;

2. Promote fairness, camaraderie, and sportsmanship; and
3. Develop athletes in competitive level in preparation for upcoming province-
wide leagues.

In line with this, may we request from your good office the use of our municipal
gymnasium and its facilities (e.g. lights, sound system) for the conduct of the said
activity on December 10 (Saturday) and 11 (Sunday), 2022.
