Hello All, I finally got Rhino 7 installation to work.

These are the steps I

applied:
1) Follow the video, till before the installation part. Install Rhino.
2) If Rhino says it cannot install files without internet connection, temporarily
enable internet connection, and then disable after installation is complete.
3) This step is important: copy the Activator file to the Rhino system file - C:\
Program Files\Rhino 7\System
4) Read the Readme file and copy the 0.0.0.1 message in the hosts file as
mentioned.
5) Run the Activator from this system file location mentioned above.
6) Now open Rhino 7 and it should run smoothly.
7) However you may notice that once you enable internet connection again, it will
tell you that the license in invalid and has been deleted. For this you can disable
the Rhino app from accessing internet using this tutorial:
https://www.thewindowsclub .com/how-to-block-an-application-from-accessing-the-
internet
8) Run the Activator from the System location again
9) Now Rhino 7 will work smoothly even with your computer connected to the internet

Guys, after a little look up on google I found this and it really helped, basically
it's just disabling internet for Rhino 7, and thus it's not checking if the licence
is valid. Hope it works :)

Close Rhino.
From the Start menu in Windows, type regedit then press Enter.
Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\McNeel.
Set the DisableInternetAccess value to 1.
Start Rhino.
