Work Immersion is one of the requirements of the SHS Grade 12 students nationwide. It is a mandatory requirements that need
full compliance. In view of this, Cotta National High School – Senior High School Department Technical Vocational and Livelihood
Track have complied with this. EIM students under the tutelage of Mr. Francisco P. Macatugob have been submitted for the said work
immersion. Work immersion truly serves as an avenue to cater the needs and demands of the students. First Hand experience truly play
an important role in their daily life situation in order to hone their talents and skills so as to become truly empowered and globally
competitive SHS - EIM graduates.
Just like any academic strands, EIM students are required to have their Work Immersion in compliance with DepEd Order
relative to work immersion as one of the requirements for graduation. In view of this, through the initiative of Ms. Ritchelda D. Abadilla,
the school head in partnership with Ms. Maria Ana P. Dayahan – Technical Skills System of Lucena Inc. School Administrator, the
necessary work immersion have been organized. The full support of Mr. Rey Mark R. Queaño - SHS Master Teacher 1 and Ms. Bituin B.
Osea - SHS Work Immersion Focal Person truly play a pivotal role in order to materialize work immersion activity.
Prior to the work immersion activity, the Grade 12 students submitted themselves for physical examination with LC Diagnostic.
To assess their communicative competence, they have been interviewed and required to answer the prepared test by the Technical Skills
System of Lucena Inc. personnel. They feel happily fulfilled upon accomplishing the written and oral examination given to them. They
were able to comply all the preliminary requirements because they have been supervised by Mr. Francisco P. Macatugob their respective
class adviser.
December 10, 2018 marks a significant event. This is the orientation day wherein SHS – EIM students have finally met the
Technical Skills System of Lucena Inc. personnel who provide technical assistance about what they are expected to do.
Having been informed about the precautionary measures they need to employ to avoid any untoward incident, EIM Students
willingness is clearly observed in their eyes during work immersion orientation. They are very much willing to do their best in order to
accomplish the required task. Their work immersion is on-going and expected to finish last week of January 2019.
