NARRATIVE REPORT IN DEWORMING

Padre Garcia Central School participated in the Department of Health's Deworming

Day on September 19,2022, in collaboration with the Department of Education.
The goal of Padre Garcia Central School is to treat all students from Kindergarten
through Grade 6 for the high occurrence of intestinal illnesses in children, which can cause
problems like cognitive decline and malnutrition, among other things.
The teacher ensures that all of their children are present on that day so that no one is
left behind. The teacher also advises the parents of the students that all of their children
should have a full stomach before entering the school as a precautionary measure in taking
deworming medicine. Nurse Shirly Encinares , our District Nurse, assists in the distribution
of chewable tablets to students.
In the end, the occasion was a big success thanks to everyone's hard work. Health and
education, particularly for school-age children, are intimately connected, and effective
learning cannot actually happen unless students are healthy.
