Bakemasters, Inc. Proposal Rev 1
Bakemasters, Inc. Proposal Rev 1
Dear Sir,
Aqua Add On Systems Inc., is pleased to submit herewith our quotation on the above captioned
subject for your evaluation. The rehabilitation is based on your submitted wastewater characteristics
(laboratory results) and daily flow rate. Please refer to the attached scope of services and bill of
quantities for your perusal.
Your current wastewater treatment facility failure to comply with DENR set effluent standards
particularly BOD, TSS, Oil and Grease, COD, Ammonia, Nitrate, Phosphate and Fecal Coliform
indicates a need for review of current treatment (Conventional Activated Sludge). It is possible that the
system is experiencing organic overloading beyond its design capacity.
It is proposed to install two (2) Ozonator units, one to be installed at one of the Settling Tanks
before the Aeration Tank and another unit at the Final Clarifier. Ozone (O 3) is a powerful primary
oxidant that is produced from the Ozonator. The ozone will effectively reduce the influent BOD and
COD with the partial oxidation of organic and inorganic matter in the wastewater stream. It is also an
effective disinfectant to eliminate pathogens from wastewater. This will greatly reduce the needed
chlorine, if not totally eradicate it. It should be noted that from the wastewater test results summary
(please see Table 1 below), the Fecal Coliform parameter failed in all the tests.

Ozone readily decomposes to oxygen in the wastewater stream providing excess dissolved
oxygen in the Settling Tank. This will also promote better flotation of suspended solids, oil and grease
that can easily be removed by scooping. With reduced organic and inorganic pollutants entering the
Aeration Tank, the activated sludge will not be experiencing shock organic loading. This should
improve the ability of the biomass to biodegrade phosphate phosphorus.
With this proposal we are confident that this will solve your current problem with compliance to
DENR effluent standards.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to quote on your requirements and looking forward for
your earliest favorable consideration.
