be used in conjunction with phosphate dispersants. GP 1001 is applicable over a
wide range of formulation, climatic and application conditions.

GP 1001 yields excellent deflocculating of pigments by imparting a negative charge

to the particle surfaces that causes the particles to repel each other. As opposed to
phosphate types, GP 1001 is resistant to hydrolysis and therefore produce stable
pigment grinds and formulations upon prolonged storage.

SUGGESTED USES

GP 1001 is useful as a dispersant in gloss paints formulations and has low foaming
characteristic. GP 1001 gives stable dispersions with most reactive pigments such as
zinc oxide.
Recommended dosage levels are 0.15 – 0.5% dry on dry pigments when used alone, or
0.05% - 0.1% (dry / dry) when used as a secondary dispersant. Normally GP 1001 should
be added to the water phase prior to the addition of the undispersed pigments
