Space and everything that is beyond planet Earth has always been very intriguing to mankind,

and space exploration is something that humans need for a better understanding of our
universe. For that reason, spending public money on it can bring many advantages to
humanity.

Firstly, giving that the amount natural resources on our planet is decreasing, as a result of its
massive exploration, raw materials yet to be discovered that may exist in space can be a great
alternative for population to reduce the usage of Earth’s resources. Also, newly discovered
matter from the universe can also detain unknown properties that can be used by humans to
get advanced knowledge on space and to evolve as a society.

Moreover, as we all know, Earth’s population growth is exponential and, if this keeps at this
rate, it is only a matter of time until our planet runs completely out of space and conditions for
mankind. For that problem, a good solution, according to some people, would be getting
ourselves a new planet to live in. However, as good as this idea sounds, the odds for humans
to find a place which reunites every condition for us to live are very close to zero. And so, it´s
not a good idea to spend an enormous amount of public money betting on such low
probability of success.

In conclusion, space exploration can be a solution for some problems that humanity has as
natural resources running out. Nevertheless, we need to be cautious because when the matter
is the universe, everything is uncertain and a lot of money can be spent for nothing.
