activities where in the participating batchmates and classmates could enhance their skills in
terms of strengths from previous graduates. If they are going to adopt this until they graduated,
surely that instead of them looking for a company, the company will be the one who will recruit
for them. If the students are able to continue these strengths, the morality of the students will
boost as well as their image as a hospitality student from Cavite State University – Cavite City
Campus.
The instructors and professors at Cavite State University-Cavite City Campus (CvSU-
CCC) can use this study as a ground to know where most of the graduates are lacking based on
the point of view of the employers. As for the downside with reference to the employers’
evaluation to the graduates, these are the skills and qualities that should be improved In terms
of resources administrative has the lowest mean, The instructors can help the students by
improving and enhancing them on how or what they will do in handling their work, Cavite State
University should hold a seminar on how to influence others at work so that if they become
managers soon, they will know how to influence their subordinates through their
communications, policies, and actions. They should also conduct a webinar to make
students aware about resolution in conflict in the workplace which is a reality of life. For
Technology, adapts and operate variety of industry technologies is the lowest because of the
university is lack of technology perhaps the instructors must train and demonstrate and explain
the task step by step, on how to use technologies like computer, pms, data sheets and so on. so
that when they graduated is they can apply it to their work. Mathematical reasoning received the
lowest score so the instructors should more focus on the subject cost control by improving their
lesson plan, giving students activities and problem solving. They need to give the students case
analysis, case studies, activities, and research so that the students can broaden their minds to
find a solution to a problem. The instructors and professors also need to improve students'
adaptability and flexibility can be improved by teaching them how to easily adapt to workplace
changes and being more flexible through practice or a seminar. Instructors can help students
overcome their fear of failure by rewarding and recognizing their efforts and must improve their
lesson plans by promoting self-regulation to manage their emotions and thoughts when
confronted with difficult situations and providing examples of how to do so. Instructors should
focus more on the subject of institutional orientation by emphasizing attendance and punctuality
by giving the students points for arriving early and on time and deducting points from the
students' grades for arriving late. You should also provide students with motivating activities
such as physical activity and brain teasers. When it comes to punctuality, instructors must set a
good example by complimenting and rewarding punctual behavior and allow students to face
consequences when they are late, and don't rush to make things right if your students are late
due to their own actions. Teach students how to pace themselves and estimate how much time
it will take to prepare for a ride or responsibility so that they will know the importance of
attendance and punctuality in school and in the workplace. Technical knowledge and skills
received the lowest score so the instructors and professors need to improve their lesson plan in
a subject applied business tools and technologies by giving students an activity. The stated
areas received the least score which should be the focused while nurturing the students at the
university.
The Administration of Cavite State University-Cavite City Campus can launch programs,
trainings, and seminars that are beneficial to the hotel management students and graduates.
Sample recommendation could be before the students engage in their respective on-the-job
training, there should be briefing on basic office works since it is found out that graduates quite
lacking in exhibiting of technical knowledge and skills expected in the operation required in the
organization. The administration should facilitate intensive skills and personalities development
seminar and gatherings where in the focus must be about influencing others, conflict resolution,
attendance and punctuality. The administration must focus on the kitchen equipment, tools and
technology. They should procure reservation system, point of sales and front office system that
the hospitality students’ needs in laboratory since it is found out that graduates are lacking in
