CAMPAIGN PROCEDURES

The Election for Supreme Student Council (SSC) of Abuyog Community College of A.Y.
2022-2023 will be done via online.
Thus:
1. Campaign activities should be done through online.
2. Candidates will create a 1 minute video for their introduction to be submitted to
COMSELEC.
3. As for campaign material, each candidate must require to submit a picture in uniform,
together with their name, position and stand for position.
4. Each party must create a recorded video of their platforms and issues which concerns the
welfare of students.
5. The COMSELEC will verify and compile the submitted pictures, 1 minute recorded
introduction and a 5 minutes video recorded platforms of each party.
6. Posting of campaign materials of each party in Facebook Page ACC-Commission on
Student Election will be designated by the COMSELEC Commissioner and approved by
the OSA Director.
7. Candidate or each party is only allowed to use the campaign materials which are approved
and posted by the COMSELEC.
8. Each candidate or party will be given ample time to campaign from May 17 until May 27.
9. All forms of campaign activities shall be suspended on the day of election.

ELECTION PROTESTS
1. Each political party has the right to file protest in case of irregularity during the electoral
proceedings.
2. Protests should be filed within 24 hours after the election and forwarded to the
commissioner.
3. Protests should be in writing containing the manner in which the irregularity was made.
4. In case of protests, the canvassing of votes will go on except for the result of the election
where the alleged irregularity took place.
5. The protests shall be decided upon by a Protest Committee composed of:
a. COMELEC Commissioner
b. Vice-Commissioner
c. Representatives from each party
6. Decision made by the Committee is final and irrevocable.
