WEATHER IN BALI
Bali is so close to the equator all year, its warm, tropical climate is a huge draw for tourists. The average
year-round temperature stands at around 26-27°C with a humidity level of about 85–90%. Water
temperatures are always pleasant. The two seasons are not clear-cut and fully predictable..

Do’s for International Flights


• Be on time. You should always have spare time in hand while arriving for your international
departure.
• Ensure that your suitcase is no larger than the specified size as per airline guidelines.
• Be patient. There will be queues and waiting time at multiple points. Be prepared for it.
• Be prepared. All your Important documents and goods should be readily available.
• Seats will be allocated at the airport itself. Present yourself as a group.

Don’ts for International Flights


• Don’t carry more than 100ml liquid either in Hand baggage or check-in baggage. Its not allowed.
• Your luggage should not weigh more than the prescribed limit i.e 30Kgs.
• You are allowed to carry your own food but carry only dry snacks without a strong aroma.
• All the equipment with batteries is to be carried in Hand baggage only. No battery object is tobe
carried in the check-in bag.
• Sharp and inflammatory goods are banned on flights. The same will be confiscated and thrown
away.
• Carry your Earphones/headphones to listen to music without disturbing others.

NOTE:
1. Try and keep your luggage weight minimum as you will be required to carry your own luggage all
around including loading and unloading from vehicles.

WHILE IN BALI
1. Do not use your left hand when Giving/Receiving.
2. Do not touch people’s heads.
3. Do not eat or drink while on Public transportation.
4. Do not drink tap water.
5. Do not smoke.
6. Do not take drugs into Bali.
7. People in Singapore are very punctual. So always be on time to enjoy the trip the most.
8. Carry an umbrella/raincoat for some surprise showers.
9. Be respectful to your elders.
10. Always maintain queues.
11. Don’t be loud.
12. Do Cover up in the Temples.
13. Do leave your shoes outside.
14. Be careful where you step.
15. Do , Haggle – but not too Hard

SPECIAL NOTES:
1. Ensure to carry International multiplugs as sockets in Bali are different than in India.
2. Carry your prescribed medicines and prescription. You may find it difficult to get those inBali
without a prescription.
3. If you have any medical condition or taking prescribed medicines, then inform your faculties
beforehand.
4. Don’t forget to carry 2 sets of formal clothes for your Industrial and University visit.
5. Don’t forget to carry your college ID cards.
6. Although you can easily get a local SIM card on arrival, if you still wish to carry your own Mobile
no., then you need to activate your international roaming. It is advisable to take an international
calling package beforehand otherwise, the mobile bill can be very costly affair.
