“Learning does not end here” – amidst the pandemic situation the world has been facing, this did not
hinder the need for learning to be given upon every learner. Government schools commenced the
blended learning last October 5, 2020, and our school, Sta. Catalina Bata National High School has
been keenly observing the Health and Safety Protocols from the Inter – Agency Task Force, Department
of Health and the Office of the President to ensure the preclusion of COVID – 19 transmission in our
community. More so, from week 1 up to now, week 9, all school personnel and stakeholders support
each other to strictly follow the “New Normal” set up.

As we commenced the school year, our compassionate town Mayor, Honorable Carla Galvez – Tan,
provided the module bags for the students and the most essential things at the moment (alcohol, face
mask and surgical gloves).
During the first week of module distribution and retrieval, our school nurse and a supervisor from the
Malolos Division Office checked the actual situation for us to see if we are doing the correct way of
preventing the corona virus transmission.

Every retrieval of the module, all of them will be put in the UV Disinfection Room, this is to
make sure that when they exchange modules, any contaminations from each module will be
treated and so ready to be given again.
We have also conducted the Home Room Parent – Teacher Meeting and General Parent – Teacher
Meeting last November 5, 2020. During the meeting the parents and teachers had a Kamustahan

session about the factors that their children have been experiencing for the past nine weeks and have
elected a new set of GPTA to continue the legacy support.
The world must have been temporarily shut down, but the dreams of the learners shall
continue to bear, this is what our school, Sta Catalina Bata National High School believes into, that
despite of the situation, we shall continue to give them a quality education. Today might not be face
to face, but we remark that the Distance Learning of Modular approach is being executed effectively
by our teachers. In fact, aside from the modules and activity sheets, students still have summative
assessments, projects and frequent online classes as well – Learning does not end here nor ends in
here.
