AJ was born in Washington DC and is also an only child. She enjoys
eating, drawing, and building robots and legos. She loves to eat paper
and her two favorite books are Drew and Jot and Tiny Titans.

Amelia Spardello
Amelia was born in Georgia and is an only child. She likes to sing and
cheer, play piano, and do art. She loves animals and likes climbing
trees. She loves the books Ivy and Bean and the Harry Potter books.
Ken Sun
Ken was born in Birmingham and has one older sister and one older
brother. He likes to draw, solve one side of a Rubik’s cube, draw, play
soccer, play basketball, study, and go on field trips. He watches his
computer in his free time and is good at math and “okay at Chinese.”
He likes the books Big Nate Flips Out and Ward Play.
Anais Zimmermann
AnaÏs was born in Birmingham and has one older sister. She likes
playing soccer, does Taekwondo, and likes to be creative. She has
a cat and likes to give him baths. She plays games on her iPad and
creates things in her free time. She has fish and her cat doesn’t try
to eat them! Most of her family doesn’t live in Alabama. She loves the
books Wing of Fire and You Never Return From the Enchanted Forest.
Brooklyn Davis
Brooklyn was born in Birmingham and has an older brother and an
older sister. She likes to do gymnastics and play softball. Her two
favorite books are The Babysitters Club and The Sand Warrior.
Anja Fernandez
Anja hails from Birmingham Alabama and has one older brother. She
likes gymnastics, playing the piano, and drawing lots of pictures. She
likes to model things out of anything she can use and reading books.
She loves to learn new things and enjoys gardening. She loves Phoebe
and Her Unicorn and The Thirteen Story Treehouse.
Tate Green
Tate was born in Virginia and has one younger sister. He enjoys play-
ing soccer, basketball, and piano. He also likes to play Minecraft. His
two interesting facts: He has kidney stones and collects rocks. Tate’s
two favorite books are Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters and
the Heroes of Olympus and The Son of Neptune.
 Marion Harden
Marion also hails from Birmingham and has 3 older sisters and 2
older brothers. She likes to play the piano, play tennis, and she has
obtained her green and yellow belts in karate. She spends her free time
playing her Switch. She loves science and technology. Her two favorite
books are Who was Steve Jobs and Who is Queen Elizabeth II.
Cameryn Harris
Cameryn was born in Florida and has one younger sister. She plays
the piano - she can play Jingle Bells and Roar by Katy Perry. She
likes to listen to music, play games, and watch videos. She can put her
leg around her neck and she’s a “little cat whisperer.” She loves the
books Emily Windsnap and The Secret of Ron Mor Skerry.
Mary Garner Hulgan
Mary Garner is also a Birmingham native and only child and is a
talented ballet dancer at Alabama Ballet and wonderful tapper. She
loves to play with her dogs and loves the books Emily WindSnap and
The Castle in the Mist.
Ame,lia Rivers
Amelia is a Birmingham native with one younger sister. She likes
ballet, drama, and basketball and likes to play with legos. She likes
reading and fireflies. Her favorite books are Percy Jackson and Baby
Mouse.
Sadie Louise Schramm
Sadie Louise is a Birmingham native with an older sister. She likes to
dance, sing, and play gaga ball. She likes to watch videos, and en-
joys playing games. She’s quite the gamer and is a cat *wink* and a
fidget collector. Her favorite books are Green Eggs and Ham and the
Dogman series.
Charlie Smith
Charlie was born in Birmingham and has a younger brother. She plays
piano, does gymnastics, plays tennis, chess, swims, and plays baseball.
She celebrates her stuffed animals birthdays (“even though they’re not
alive”). She likes learning interesting facts, like singing, and likes helping
in all kinds of different ways. She loves the books Rebel Girls and The
Kingdom of Wrenly.
 Ramey Payne
Ramey was born in Alabama and has one older sister. She likes to
play on her scooter, is a cheerleader and martial artist. She loves
the color blue and tigers. She loves the books Stepping Stones and Pilo
of the Wild.
Cai Perkins
Cai was born in Birmingham and has one older brother. “I am a
cheerleader and I sing songs to my friends.” She likes to play with my
older brother’s games. She does gymnastics and plays video games. Her
two favorite books are Juice and Jada Jones.
Evie Puccio
Evie was born in Kimberly, Alabama and has 2 younger brothers. She
plays soccer and likes to swim. She spends her free time reading,
drawing, and coloring. She was born on Elvis’ birthday and has a puppy
named Maggie. Her favorite books are The Good Egg and In My Heart.
Hawkins Joiner
Hawkins was born in Birmingham Alabama and has one older sister
and one younger sister who he likes to play games with. He enjoys
playing Minecraft with his dad, watching TV, and running around. He
also plays soccer and does karate. His two favorite books are Percy
Jackson: Sea of Monsters and Willodeen.
Winston Kutcher
Winston was born in New York City and has one younger sister. He
likes to play soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. He also enjoys playing
video games and can play them without looking. He also claims to be
able to see 2-5 miles away. His favorite books are Star Wars and The
Avengers.
Simon Long
Simon is a Birmingham native with one older sister. He likes to play
video games, hunt, draw, build dioramas, and build models. He likes to
play with his dog and loves animals and turtles. He loves the book The
Inkberg Enigma.

Noah McKenzie
Noah was born in North Carolina and has one younger brother and
another one on the way! He likes to play basketball and soccer, is
the fastest kid in the second grade, and is very smart. He loves to
read and enjoys the books Investigators and Dragon Kingdom.
Khloe Morris
Khloe was born in Montgomery and has no siblings. She plays soccer
and does gymnastics and likes to run. She can whistle and cross her
eyes and loves the books The Wonder and The Lorax.
Paisley Moss
Paisley was born in Alabama and has one younger sister. She enjoys
cheering, swimming, and shopping. She is 8 years old and will have her
birthday on May 23rd. She loves the books Dog Man and Bug Boys.
Kennedy Newton
Kennedy was born in Alabama and has one younger sister. She does
gymnastics and loves to read for a happy. She likes to watch TV and
play games and loves to put makeup on her and play with her sister,
Noelle. Her two favorite books are Later and Karre.
William Olsen
William has one older sister and likes to play video games, read books,
and play with his toys. He also likes to play with his mom. He likes
dinosaurs and is energetic. He loves the books Dinosaurs Empire and
Mammoth Takeover.
Veda Pate
Veda was born in Birmingham and likes to play with her pets (her
dogs, gecko, and hamsters). She has one older sister. She has lived in
Palau, is 7 years old, and is a blue belt in taekwondo. She likes to
read, play the violin and do gymnastics. Her favorite books are Dave
the Unicorn and Bluffton.
