PBL WEEK – FIRST GROUP

PROJECT BASED LEARNING

This term the project will deal with the BRITISH MONARCHY
and the ROYAL FAMILIY.

Specifically, we will carry out a research project on the opinion

of the British about the institution and each of the members
that are part of their royal family.

The project will be STRUCTURED in different phases.

1) The first phase will consist of the search for information. To do this, first of all, you will
have to consult the official website of the royal family (https://www.royal.uk/royal-
family) and create a family tree with all the members that currently make up the
family (14 members).

2) Later, you will have to choose two members of the royal family and consult three
British newspapers in their digital edition to find three different news items (one
from each newspaper) in which these members of the royal family are the focus.

3) After reading the three news from the three media, you will have to make a poster in
which you briefly introduce the character and summarize what you think is the
opinion of the British about this royal member based on what the media say.

4) Finally, you will make a presentation in class for your classmates.
