BUILDING YOUR WEEBLY SITE: DAY 4

Important Links for this Assignment

• My example site: http://fowlerihsmusic.weebly.com

Create four new Subpages for the Areas section

• Log on to Weebly and choose to Edit your site
• To view your current pages and to create a new page, click the “Pages” link in the top
Weebly menu bar.
• To create a new page, click the “+” button next to the word “Pages” at the top left of the
window. Create a “Standard” page and leave the “Header” option as is.
• Name the new page “Choir.”
• Create 3 more pages with the same settings and name them: Band, Orchestra, & Jazz
• Reorder the pages by clicking and dragging on the left side of page title and put them
under Areas
• Finally, drag each of these new page names slightly right to make them subpages for
Areas.

Creating Areas Graphics

• Using one of the online resources below (or your own graphic design program if you
have one) create the four graphic elements needed for the primary Areas navigation
page. As before, I recommend using Canva since it is very user friendly and has many
templates to choose from.
• Canva | Adobe Spark
• For each of the graphics, add a link by clicking the graphic and choosing to add a link to
your already existing standard pages (band, orchestra, choir, & jazz).

Build out the Areas Pages

• Follow the example set up in my sample site for this page -
http://fowlerihsmusic.weebly.com
• Use the Build tools to create something similar to the Area pages on my example site
• First, add an image to each header.
• For the rest of each page, create some text that conveys the courses available in your
imaginary program.
