II. Objectives
 Write paragraphs showing problem-solution relationships.

III. Background Information for the Learner

A problem is a difficult situation that causes a person, among groups or an

issue going on in the world to be worried or unhappy. A solution is the way on how a
problem is solved. There might be one solution to deal with a certain problem.

Applying this in writing paragraph, you may follow these:

Step 1: Think of a problem and possible solution or solutions:

Problem:
1. Several students are piled up with undone activities in their modules.

Possible Solutions:
1. Students must follow the given schedule per subject in a day.
2. They must limit screen time and distractions and use gadget only when
necessary.
3. They should ask guidance and stay informed from parents and teachers.
Step 2: Organize the ideas using a graphic organizer like this:

The sentences in the informational text are organized to show problem and

Here are other signal or words that may help you identify the solution/s. You may
also use these in creating a paragraph with problem-solution relationships.
