Solution Overview
A XenDesktop Pilot will assist in leveraging the FlexCast Delivery Technologies that meet your
business and technical requirements. The project is multi-phase and varies in length depending
on project complexity. Our key objective is to get as many users into a production environment
as quickly and safely as possible. Achieving this objective involves conducting review sessions to
gather requirements, validating use cases, designing the environment to support each use case,
conducting environment and user testing, and deploying the environment to a limited number of
users in a pilot capacity early on.

- Define requirements and identify FlexCast delivery model

- Identify use cases which can be satisfied with FlexCast delivery models
- Define FlexCast delivery model(s) to be implemented. Hosted Shared Desktops with
XenApp, VM Pooled Desktops with XenDesktop, and VM Dedicated Desktops with
XenDesktop will be utilized by default
- Provide high-level hardware and storage requirements for the pilot

- Conduct basic functionality testing for each application and system testing with all
applications and multiple users
