As a compassionate and analytical individual, I am excited to apply for admission to the

Master of Business Administration program at Ontario College of Management &

Technology in Canada. My background in nursing has taught me the value of critical
thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, and I am eager to apply these skills in a
new field.
I have completed my undergraduate diploma in Midwifery at St. Patrick Midwifery Training
School, Offinso and throughout my studies, I have gained a solid foundation in key concepts
such as patient care, health promotion, and disease management. I have also had the
opportunity to gain practical experience in various healthcare settings, such as hospitals and
clinics. My academic achievements, including a GPA of 3.5, have been a testament to my
dedication and hard work.
I am particularly drawn to Ontario College of Management & Technology Post Graduate
Diploma program among all other options due to its reputation for academic excellence and
its emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship. The program's curriculum, resources, and
faculty align with my career goals and I believe that the program will provide me with the
knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in today's fast-paced business environment.
I am aware that switching from nursing to business administration may seem unusual, but I
am confident that my background and experience in healthcare has prepared me well for
the rigors of this Post Graduate Diploma program in Business Administration. The healthcare
industry is constantly evolving, and I have learned the importance of adaptability and
resilience in a professional setting. I believe that my background in Midwifery has given me
a unique perspective on the importance of data analysis, networking, team work, strategic
planning, and effective communication, which are some essential skills in the business
world.
