Scenario #3:

Mighty Morphin’ Mix-Up!

SETUP
Follow the normal Setup for the base game using any combination of Foot Soldiers, Monsters, Bosses etc...
Players may choose any Mighty Morphin Power Ranger.
Important! This scenario requires 3 or more players and is not compatible with the 2 player setup described in
the Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid rulebook.

PLAY
This scenario introduces special events that change the game when specific triggers occur.

At the start of Round 1

It’s an ordinary Friday afternoon, you and the other Rangers are going about your day, looking forward to a fun
weekend. Of course, as always, the forces of evil have come to interrupt your fun. You complete your morphing call
and get ready to fight, but something seems… off about the Morphin’ Grid today. It’s probably nothing...

At the start of Round 2

You hear a strange and sudden pulse in the Morphin’ Grid. After a moment, Alpha 5’s voice crackles through
your communicators: “Ai Yi Yi! An energy surge in the Morphin’ Grid has reacted with your Power Coins to
initiate a sudden chromatic inversion!”

That sounds bad, but you don’t feel any worse, just different. Looking down, you and your teammates realize
the truth: you’ve all switched colors!

Immediately resolve the following effects in order:

Step 1: Each Ranger shuffles their hand into their combat deck.
Step 2: Roll 1 die. If the result is exactly 1 each Ranger must pass their deck, discard pile, stored
energy tokens, and any of their summoned Zords to the player on their right. Otherwise, they must pass
their deck, discard pile, stored energy tokens, and any of their summoned Zords to the player on their left.
(Each player retains their Ranger’s character card and corresponding Ranger figure.)

Step3: Each Ranger may draw up to 5 cards from their new deck.
Power Up
For the rest of this Scenario, any Ranger in the Command Center may flip 1 action token to power up. (This
might be necessary if a Ranger is already in the Command Center and is passed a deck and discard pile from
another Ranger who has a significant number of cards in their discard pile.)

At the start of Round 3

“Okay, I think I’ve got it!” Alpha calls out, and in a flash of light your colors have changed again! “Wait no, that’s still
not right. It’s Mastodon THEN Pterodactyl…” Alpha mutters to himself. “Uh… Just keep fighting! Zordon and I will
figure this out!”

Repeat the effects from Round 2, with the following change:

During Step 2, if a Ranger is passed a combat deck that corresponds to their character card, then all Rangers
must continue passing their combat decks, discard piles, etc... in the same direction until each player has
received a combat deck that corresponds to a different Ranger than their character card.

At the start of each Round after 3, until the end of the Scenario
As Alpha frantically attempts to recalibrate your power coins, you feel yet another burst of energy surging through
the Morphin’ Grid and once again you find your colors shifted. This may take a while...

Repeat the effects from Round 3.

GAME END
If the Rangers Lose:
Despite your best efforts, the constant power-switching is too disorienting, and you’re forced to retreat. After many
frustrating hours in the Command Center, Alpha finally manages to get your powers back to normal. The city has
suffered some property damage, but mercifully few people were harmed. You spend more time training together
and learning about each other’s unique strengths and weaknesses. You hope that nothing like this ever happens
again, but if it does, you’ll be ready...

If the Rangers Win:

Even after the monsters are defeated, it’s still a few hours before your powers are back to normal. It’s almost fun;
you have always wanted to try the other Power Weapons. Zordon nods sagely as the team gathers in their true
colors; “Congratulations Rangers, this has been a… most unusual day... but as expected, you pulled through with
flying colors.”

“Not only that, but you’ve each learned more about your teammates and the powers they wield. Now with your
newfound understanding of each other, your ability to work as a team will be greatly enhanced! Together we will be
ready for anything the forces of evil can throw at us!”
