2.2.1 Name of the Business Enterprise & Year of Establishment
Key Executives-
Since May 1, 2018, Anil Sardana has served as the managing director and CEO of Adani Transmis-
sion Limited. As of July 2020, he will also assume leadership of Adani Power. He served as CEO
and Managing Director of Tata Power for more than seven years until April 30th, 2018. He served
as the company's managing director and CEO from August 2007 to January 2011 (the start of the
year).
Corporate Governance
The Adani Group of Companies' (hereinafter referred to as "Group") management will continue to
make efforts to strike a proper balance between economic, social, and environmental performance
in dealings with the Group's various stakeholders, including customers, investors, lenders, deposit
holders, and the general public.
The following are the highlights of the Company's Corporate Governance policy:
· The Company believes that strong standards of Corporate Governance require an active, well-in-
formed, and independent Board. The Board of Directors has a good mix of executive and
non-executive directors. The bulk of the Board members are Independent Directors,
which ensures the Board's independence.
· The Company can ensure timely settlement of a variety of issues by forming different committees
for concentrated attention and proactive information flow.

Adani Transmission's market valuation was $44.63 billion as of November 2022. According to our
research, this places Adani Transmission as the 369th most valuable corporation in the world. The
market capitalization, often known as market cap, is a measure of a firm's value that takes into ac-
count all of the outstanding shares of a publicly listed company.
The Chhattisgarh-WR transmission line, the Sipat transmission line linking with Sipat Thermal
Power Station, and the Raipur-Rajnandgaon-Warora transmission line were all acquired by ATL in
2015 from PFC Consulting, which is itself a subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation.
ATL also purchased the Maru Transmission Services Ltd (MTSL) and Aaravalli Transmission Ser-
vices Ltd. from the GMR Group in the state of Rajasthan in 2016. (ATSL).
